Ordering from the USA

Material is sold through 3 primary routes:

1 - There is an Annual Spring Release every March. This material remains available all Summer and Fall.

2 - Bulk orders for nurseries, professionals, hobbyists, clubs, etc. please get in touch HERE

3 - Private Sale platform

The minimum order size is 800CAD (~575USD), but smaller orders can be accepted:

The logistics and administration that goes on behind the scenes for each shipment makes it difficult to accept orders under 800CAD. For those who require smaller orders, there will be an additional processing fee of 125CAD (~90USD) automatically applied at checkout.

Please consider grouping orders with your friends or fellow club-members

For members of the Private Sale, there is no minimum order-size requirement

Canada Bonsai ships to the USA twice per year. At check-out, you can choose from these 2 options:
February/March
October/November

About 4-6 weeks prior to shipment, you will receive an email with a more precise time of shipment

There are a few reason for this, including streamlining logistics and inspections, as well as concentrating shipments during the periods of the year when weather (extreme heat or cold) are relatively unproblematic

Shipment/delivery is available any time of the year for high-value specimens or large bulk orders

In-person delivery is possible and assessed on an as-needed basis. In recent years, I have been delivering in-person as far down the east coast as South Carolina, and as far west as Chicago

You will not be charged any surprise duties or tarrifs

Canada Bonsai's process and arrangements completely eliminates the risk of packages being held up at customs.

At checkout, you will be charged a shipping fee deposit based on your location in the USA

At the time of shipping, you will only be responsible for the true cost of shipping. Whatever USPS, FedEx, or UPS charges me, I charge you.

For large, heavy, or awkward items, please feel free to get in touch in advance for shipping quotes.

There is absolutely nothing for you to do. That's right, nothing.

Canada Bonsai handles all of the permits, phytosanitary certificates, inspections, export/import documentation, etc.

Regardless of order volume or value, a phytosanitary certificate is always 45CAD (~32USD) per shipment. If you place multiple orders, only one phyto certificate is required per shipment; the other phyto certificate charges will be refunded.
